Фильм безусловно категории B-movie, выходил исключительно на видео, что его достоинств ничуть не умаляет.




Тем более удивляет, что  фильм, в котором главными героями являются old rebels, то бишь ветераны — конфедераты вышел в 1993 году, когда из людей сражавшихся под «southern cross» уже начали делать чуть ли не национал-социалистов.




Здесь этого нет. Жесткая, брутальная история, колоритные персонажи (один негр-конфедерат чего стоит), определенный реализм (даже kolt navy как и положено висит спереди, а не сбоку), и вполне предсказуемая концовка.




Хотя в начале 90х как жанр western был уже мертв, однако отдельные почти шедевры все же попадались. «Last Outlaw» из их числа.
